Why Digital India??

Digital India is a campaign launched by the Government of India to ensure that Government services are made available to citizens electronically by improved online infrastructure and by increasing Internet connectivity or by making the country digitally empowered in the field of technology. As far no disadvantages could be noticed as its a initiative we are talking about. However, the initiative also lacks many crucial components including lack of legal framework, absence of privacy  and data protection laws, civil liberties abuse possibilities, lack of parliamentary oversight for e-surveillance in India,  lack of intelligence related reforms in India, insecure Indian cyberspace, etc.

A Bank account for Immediate Benefit Transfers of subsidies and payments.The program also aims to eliminate all electronics imports from foreign countries by 2020 and make India a electronics manufacturing super power.
The use of information technology, the Government of India has launched the Digital India programmed with
the vision to transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy.Digital India is an ambitious programmed of Government of India projected at Rs 1,13,000 crores. This will be for preparing the India for the knowledge based transformation and delivering good governance to citizens by synchronized and co-ordinated engagement with both Central Government and State Government. 
     Some Advantage of Digital India:
  • 73.26% people have said yes to apprenticeship in the year 2015 while only 55.31% said yes in the year 2014.
  • In comparison to 2014, 2015 has seen a rise in job in all the sectors, which in result has even given a growth to the salary structure. The minimum salary range for a skilled worker is now 2.6 lakhs and above.
  • A rise of 25% to 59.5% is seen in all the sectors and industries when it comes to hiring.Domain wise hiring is also seeing a rise in the year 2015
  • Indian villages will be benefited the most as with the phase of digitization they would be provided with even more of basic amenities  (like electricity would be surely provided as it is a base for digitization ).
  • Villagers will get an opportunity to discover new things through internet facilities.
  • With digital lockers, our documents would be safely stored. Possibility of loss would be minimized.
  • Online service portals will reduce the delays. All procedures would be transparent.
  • Employment will increase as IT companies will employ more people so as to accomplish there company's goals.
